Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Enterprise and Entrepreneurship (Business)

This is a two-year full time three A Level (equivalent) course. The Higher National Diploma is for students who are interested in learning about the Enterprise and Entrepreneurship alongside other fields of study with a view to progressing to a wide range of HE courses, not necessarily in Enterprise-related subjects.

Main unit coverage:

• Developing a marketing campaign
• Personal business finance
• Launch and run an enterprise
• Survival and growth
• Business decision-making

It is assessed by internal assignment and unit work along with external assessment in form of case studies and examination.

Students who have completed this qualification may progress to further learning at Level 3, for example a larger-size BTEC National in the business sector. The qualification carries UCAS points and is recognised by higher education providers as contributing to meeting admission requirements if taken with other Level 3 qualifications as part of a programme of learning. The qualification is equivalent in size to two A-Level’s and aims to provide a basic introduction to the business sector.
